Things on my mind

Geez, Louise, Ebay is driving me CRAZY.
I'm selling a set of books that my parents bought for their budding young reader in 1984. They have NEVER been read. They are in mint condition. But people keep emailing me with questions about them, wanting to know if there is water damage, creases, how I will mail them, if I will mail them to Canada, etc. Just buy the damned books!!
It's been an okay weekend. Had a yard sale at Granny's yesterday and ended up selling most of the crap that neither Le nor I wanted. It was A LOT of work and I was pooped when it was all said and done, but now I have to get ready for the yard sale I'm having THIS coming weekend with Amanda. And I still have two of my worst rooms to tackle to clean and organize. Ugh!!
While going through Granny's things last week, I did find a stash of cash. And after discussing it with Le, it was decided that Lee and I should take $200 for what would have been our birthday money this year. Le, Kimberly and Robert all had birthdays this year before she died and she gave each of them $100. SO..... Lee and I took our $200 and are going to see Norah Jones compliments of Granny. :) Yay!
Some damn tropical storm is skirting our coast tomorrow and all I have to say is blow, baby, blow. (Since in the land dispute with my uncle, I'm thinking it's about time our coast gets another whack from Mother Nature.)
Sitting here looking at a bracelet my Monster in Law gave me for Christmas. It's 14K gold and hideous. My first impulse when I found it under the couch was to sell it on Ebay, but she's such an Ebay nut, it would be my luck she'd find out I was selling it. Oh, well... maybe the local Pawn Shop would be interested....
That's about it for now.

Maybe a pawn shop further from home.
Play it safe.

C'est la vie.

I see different things in the picture, btw. I see an open
heart and a trusting soul... eyes of wonder about the world.
Cuteness, and a gentleness. Some things never change.
*hugs*
