Something else to try with Ozempic: If you're injecting it in your abdomen, try using your thigh instead. That tends to be somewhat less effective, but also to produce fewer side effects. If you can get the side effects more tolerable that way, you can up the dose afterward very gradually to keep it tolerable.
And remember, you're never required to increase the dose. It's perfectly fine to stay at .25 mg. until you stop experiencing side effects at that level, and only then to try .5 mg.
It's possible that Ozempic is just not right for you, and no shame if that's the case. But I figured I'd pass along my tips in hopes that some slight changes may make it work for you.
