Just what I needed

This week, I have been feeling pretty damned depressed. But apparently, it wasn't anything that a few hours in the Korean Bath place and an awesome steak dinner couldn't fix.

I'm still facing doldrums from having to work today, tonight, and tomorrow but I'll get through it. After a little over a week out of the aircast, I'm back in it today hoping it will help with the massive amounts of swelling that has started to occur almost daily. Pain-wise, it's still twingey and when it swells, I feel the pressure from the swelling. It probably hasn't helped that this week has been a rainy mess.

But yeah, the bade pool and poultice rooms were pretty awesome. I could spend hours without end just floating, being massaged, scrubbed, and relaxed. I think [livejournal.com profile] soubrettic was impressed with our little set-up and it might go a long way in convincing her to move here. :)

Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] nova_sonya and [livejournal.com profile] singletail for being so patient with dinner. You two are fantastic!

yes! yes!

It's all very mind-blowing.

I cannot scream enough good things about it. And it's a bargain at only $35 a visit. (unlimited time for the visit)

just a thought on the foot. You might ask your doc about using a compression stocking to help with the swelling. The are a lot more maneurverable than an aircast and really help with the swelling. I use one daily and have for the last nine years to deal with the results of my mangled ankled (yeah really mangaled they had to put the ankle fragments in a stailess steel basket and attach the basket to the bone with stainless steel screws). My life would be most unpleasant without them.
