Random Domesticity

Took someone's advice and listed some things on ebay. Nothing's moving, but it's early. Also found some random stuff that ebay won't sell, but it may go in a yard sale. (Every year, my inlaws stuff our stockings with tubes of Colgate toothpaste. I despise Colgate and have quite a stockpile of the stuff. Unopened in the box, they should go for a nickel a piece, netting me a cool .50)

I've completed 2 rooms. The master bedroom and bath. Now, I'm attacking the hall bathroom... the one I had as a child that still has my teenage- Bonnie Bell makeup in some of the drawers. It should be a nice walk down memory lane as I throw it all away. The biggest bear will be the linen closet in there. It's a tangle of sheets and towels.

But first, I have lunch with Jane. And maybe a pedicure at one of those cheap asian nail salons. This weekend is my big spa weekend in the mountains and I did not chose a pedicure as one of my services because I figured I could get it done anywhere. The closer I get to the weekend, the more excited I'm getting. I've never been to this place, but Jane has. It's in an old mansion near Blowing Rock and besides the cool services I did chose, I'm looking forward to being in the mountains and enjoying the hikes and shopping. The cool services I chose were the following: metabolic rate assessment (this ought to be interesting), a cooking class, a salt scrub, and some kind of mud wrap. I joked with Jane that the latter included a colonic and she said "better you than me!"
