Sep. 16th, 2004 10:34 amI'm going to start ignoring the hurricanes. Lee's got me into doing super geekdom things like reading and actually understanding the discussion on the nws web page. Now another one points its little head toward Charleston way. Whoopeee.
Renee's coming over around noon. We're going to go over the Halloween Carnival stuff. She "popped by" the other day with her two lovely kids in tow and I did not answer the door. Shameful, hmmm? Well, it's not as if you can turn away a mother and two kids when they pop by... one invariably has to use the bathroom and that involves all kinds of other stuff.. "do you have any candy, will you read this to me" (I have a large selection of children's books... not because I want cookie crumblers, but because I love the illustrations). So I just didn't answer it. Not as guilt free a move as not answering the phone. A planned two toddler visit is much, much better than an unplanned one. This way, I can get all of my breakables in an unreachable spot. Oh well, I'm going to hell for SOMETHING.
